Madrid is filled with Christmas

Once again, the capital of Spain will be illuminated to celebrate the most magical time of the year, Christmas. The streets and squares of Madrid will be adorned with millions of lights with proposals from designers and artists such as Moisés Nieto, Ana Locking and Helena Rohner.

There will be a big Christmas ball on the corner of Gran Vía and Alcalá street and a giant Menina on the Paseo del Prado. In addition, this year as a novelty, there will be a giant nativity scene located in the Plaza de Colón.

In total, the city will have 230 locations, distributed throughout the capital with 6,700 chains, 115 cherry trees and 13 large luminous fir trees, among which the giant natural fir tree in Plaza de España will stand out.
