The 42nd edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR) kicks off this coming Wednesday, with the representation of almost 7,000 companies and more than 100 countries.
FITUR aims to be the starting valve for tourism activity, sending a message of tranquility, and that tourism can coexist with the new reality that pandamia has left us.
And of course, the Community of Madrid will be represented at IFEMA with an eye-catching fan-shaped stand.
The stand is designed as a fan that symbolizes dynamism, diversity, authenticity and sustainability. It will have more than 1,600 square meters divided into two floors with a main information desk, an exhibition area, a tourist information area, a stage, an area for meetings and professional gatherings, offices and a catering area.
The set-up is decorated with vertical gardens, as a representation of the green spaces of the Community of Madrid and of sustainable tourism in harmony with its surroundings.
Security measures
To ensure the normal functioning of Fitur, Ifema Madrid will reinforce sanitary controls and will take all security measures to the extreme. It will require all participants from countries that are members of the European Covid digital certificate to present it and, for participants from third countries, the same requirement requested at the border to obtain the QR Spain Health that allows entry into Spain. It will not be possible to move around the fair pavilions without an FFP2 mask. Capacity control will also be carried out in all pavilions. In addition, the ventilation system will ensure complete renewal every 20 minutes.
