Bill Gates takes control of Four Seasons

The computer tycoon’s company, which already had a 47.5% stake in the luxury hotel chain, has gained this control after paying 2.21 billion dollars and taking a further 23.8% stake after closing the deal with the Saudi prince and respected businessman Al-Walid ben Talal. As a result, it now owns 71.25% of the prestigious chain.

Four Seasons, one of the world’s leading luxury hotel chains, currently has more than 120 hotels and resorts, as well as 46 residential properties in 47 countries, including Four Seasons Madrid, located in the new Canalejas luxury complex.
